Transit Informatics to be Introduced at NCTR's 2009 GIS in Transit Conference

Hi guys, My name is Martin Akerman, I am a graduate researcher at the Center for Urban Transportation Research. My research focus is on transit informatics and empowering transit agencies with technology. I've fallen completely in love with the transit industry and have worked hard the last 3 years to make a case for Informatics in Transit as a recognized field. I love to see agencies like Metro, Trimet, and BART continue to push the envelope. You inspire me to continue developing technology for transit agencies every day.
